Monyhull 0 Dynamo Kingswinford 4

A return to action for the 'hull, ends in a performance, better best forgotten.

As usual the hull started slowly, but this time the defence held firm in the face of a stream of attacks, and, well into the first half, had held Dynamo out and were beginning to put some passes together. Then tragedy struck, Langston and Big Ron went for the same ball in midfield, Big Ron called for it and promptly gave it away. Dynamo broke swiftly and with the two centre backs out of the game scored a decent goal.

Heads stayed up, and the hull spent the rest of the half searching for a way back in. In the last minute of the half Nick put in a superb tackle just inside the penalty area, and to the disbelief of both teams the ref awarded a penalty. Webber in goal went the right way but couldn’t get a hand on the ball and the hull went into half time 2 down.

The second half saw the hull begin to look dangerous, Lee and Key had a good opportunity to get one back before Langston took himself and Lee “Emile”Clarke off for Maxand Gary. Jamie dropped into centre half and Tom B moved to centre mid where he began to pull the strings with Dan, and a goal looked likely to come sooner rather than later. And so it did, a dodgy free kick on the edge of the hulls box, the wall not listening to Webbers directions (familiar theme?) and an open goal was left for Dynamo to get their third.

The fourth was a mistake from the man formerly known as Cautious, but now known as the non-tackling full back, who allowed his man to roll him inside the six yard box and get in an unchallenged shot.

Langston brought on White for Rainbow to throw in an extra striker to try and get one back, but it was all over, and hull returned to the bottom of the table on goals scored.

Man of the match went to Jamie Madden for a fine performance, with Mr Consistency Dan Burke running him close. Two games to go in the league season, can the hull find some goals and a win to try and get off the bottom of the table?  Will Langston get one game up front and still finish top scorer for the season? Will Gaffer Millist play again? The answers will become clear over the next three weeks.
